I feel a little sad for C.Walk, along with guys like Shatner and Nicholson, who have a very distinct manner of speech. Imagine going your whole professional life being handed perfectly normal passages, and being asked to read them on camera because you sound funny.
It's like walking up to a guy with down syndrome and saying "HEY BUDDY! Make that face again, it's SO fuckin' awesome!"

Lighten up, Oafah, the Walk knows the score, as does Kirk. Nicholson, though- he's just senile. Give Jack a cookie and let him tell you war stories and he'll be happy as a dirty old clam.

And let him get that watch out of his ass.

...in the asshole of Timo?
Also, Walken knows his cadence is amusing to people. He doesn't deny it, he embraces it, and then sells it to the slavering masses.

Oh baby, you're makin' me moist.
Words cannot express how much I effing hate that song. Not even the legendary Bruce Dickenson himself can make it the slightest bit enjoyable. I must stop now, I'm getting pissed off just thinking about the song.

Is it just me, or does Cartman sound totally different now than he did earlier on? Like, he has less 'cheeks' in his voice now and sounds more like an angry version of Stan?

Q: Cartman's voice seems to have changed (gotten deeper) in the last 2 seasons? Is Trey still doing the voice, or is it just because Cartman is getting his pubes a little early?
A: Actually, Trey's voice has gotten deeper ever since HE went through puberty.

I think Christopher Walken impersonators are funnier than Christopher Walken doing Christopher Walken

Wrong, Bruce can improve anything.

I laughed, but afterwards I felt ashamed, then offended. How can you compare Walken, or for that matter, someone with eloquent speech, to someone with down syndrome?
Although, after a reread, I can kinda see what you mean. But still. Walken is liek, way better than someone with down syndrome.

Yes, I definitely do not liken their conditions as the same. Walken just has a distinct way of speaking, while a guy with Down's has a serious genetic deficiency.
What I meant was, both are simply parts of who the person is, and neither is meant to be funny. I suppose the difference is, Walken's distinct speech is not a disability, and down syndrome is. That said, I was just looking for an out for a punchline I had written and thought was hilarious.

So wait... you know that Simpsons episode where he reads Goodnight Moon to children in the park? ("Scooch closer children.... don't make me tell you again... about the scooching..")
Did The Simpsons start this joke, or did they just copy something the man himself came up with?
