I'm pretty sure that UO-BSU is going to be seriously screwing up ballots from here on out, and will make things more difficult for non-AQs to schedule good teams in the future.

I'd love to boot Baylor and bring in TCU. 6-6 is definitely underrated for the BIG XII, I say 9-3ish. 

Booting Baylor and bringing in TCU is a terrible idea. The Big XII conference is more than football and Baylor is a great school in other areas.

Also, TCU would do better than 6-6 in the Big XII with the team they have right now, assuming they were playing a Big XII South schedule. They play 3 Big XII North teams every year and at this point, they're better than the entire Big XII North. You're saying they would lose to every South team on their schedule (if they win all their non-conference) or that they would lose at least one non-conference game and win one of their South games. 

I'm just saying on average. They would lose a lot more games against the big XII last year than they would this year. This year the big XII is pretty shitty.

I guess, to be clear, I don't think that MWC is a really good conference. But I also don't think they're bad.

The Pac-10 is strong this year. Oregon, USC, Stanford, Washington are all going to win their bowl games. 

If that actually happens I'll give you mad props, yo. 

Stanford still has to win 1 of these 4 games to even be bowl eligible, let alone to win that bowl game:

vs No. 8 Oregon
at No. 12 USC
vs No. 20 California
vs No. 22 Notre Dame

So pretty much they have to beat Cal at home, which seems unlikely.

Washington still has to win 3 of these 4 games to even be bowl eligible, let along win that bowl game:

at UCLA
at Oregon State
vs Washington State
vs No. 20 California

I can buy them beating UCLA and Washington State, but I can see Oregon State and Cal both being losses, leaving them ineligible for a bowl game. 

I was just about to post about the fact that I wasn't even aware that Stanford and Washington were bowl eligible... but gyrocaps beat me too it.

Those are the likely bowl-eligible teams in the Pac-10 this year (I might be giving Washington too much credit, they would need to go 3-1 to be bowl eligible).

Sadly, actually, I could see both Stanford and Washington beating Cal. Especially if Washington needs that last game against Cal to become bowl eligible. Put 8 men in the box against Cal, take a quick lead, and we're beat.
