The Big Ten is a decent conference
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
big 10 is certainly worse than the Big East and equally as bad as the ACC
Thats retardedly wrong.
entropic, couldnt agree more.
bad calls or not though, state still should have won that game.

If you think anyone in the big 10 can get within 10 points of UC you're retardedly wrong, I suggest you watch them play if you haven't (which I assume is the case if you think the big 10 is better than the Big East)
the big 10, as has been the case the last 3-4 years, are severely overrated in the polls...Iowa is the only team with a true claim to be a top 20 team from that conference

i tried to tell the vols and auburn to hire kelly.
Fuck the NCAA! Players routinely get away with worse shit especially when the damn school denies everything. Dez Bryant gets suspended for the rest of the season for lying. fuck that.
So the NCAA is opening a formal investigation against Michigan?
Say it ain't so.
Say it ain't so.
Cincy is good.
Iowa, Penn State, OSU, and even MSU can bang with them.
If you think the Bearcats would just steamroll thru that group you're dreaming.
The Big Ten is overrated at the top, like I said.
But its a tough, physical conference with loads of parity.

No, the Michigan Boosters are supporting the NCAA's efforts in order to fire Rich Rod.
So I guess this must be from the Onion posing as the Inquirer:

But I agree that RR isn't right for that program. He needs to be in the ACC or big xii where he can coach speed. Big x is about power.
The NCAA has joined the University of Michigan in an investigation of college football's winningest program.
University president Mary Sue Coleman announced yesterday that the NCAA had given the school a notice of inquiry.
"It marks the beginning of an investigation," NCAA spokeswoman Stacey Osburn said.

I'd say the the ACC or MWC, not the Big 12.
I don't dislike his style.
I dislike him going calling a fake punt from his own 12 yard line.
I dislike him sitting his best QB because they had a disagreement during a game they could have one.
I dislike him going for it on 4 and 4 every time he gets the opportunity.
I dislike him saying "we were close, so that counts for something".
I dislike that he had the worst record in school history EVER. EVER.
The guy can't coach in-game. And cannot accept a transitional type of management adjustment until all his recruits are in. He's an idiot.

That line doesn't even fly at Vanderbilt.
I really like the way RR has given the opportunity to let PSU pound on Michigan for a while though.
as a michigan state fan, I hope RR coaches that team for another 10 years.
As an avid person to just likes to see Michigan lose (along with Notre Dame) I hope he gets an extension after the investigation.
i hope you get an extension in your pants so large that you run out of skin.
After Michigan fires RR they can bring in Charlie Weiss. He'll be available once Florida's season is over.
They can hire Les Miles like they were supposed to fucking do.
Les won't leave LSU for Michigan.
I'm starting to think you don't like coach Rod.
Les won't leave LSU for Michigan...
...for the amount of money they offered him LAST TIME.

I don't know about that. Les might be tired of the big time and want to step back.

I guess we'll have to wait for bowl season to watch the Big 10 get fucked-stomped in every game for you to admit the big 10 is considerably behind the curve
I really hope whoever wins the big 10 plays UC in whatever bowl, especially if its osu
who is UC?
Cincy
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Cincy hasn't played ANYBODY.
tOSU should pick up playing Cincy again, just to have a close, interesting game.
Hell, they should pick up Louiville and West Virginia too, instead of the MAC teams. I guess they played Marshall last year though...

tOSU
dont do that.
So how bout these spreads on the pick em this week....I don't think OSU can hang 44 points on anybody right now.
VA Tech just blew their game to unranked UNC. Good game.
BOOMER
2 zeros in a row.
Cute.
OK, so I'm in a picking game with my friends and I've been trying to decide on my last two picks.
Texas @ OSU
USC @ Oregon
I feel like there's an upset in one of them, but I'm having a hard time deciding which one. Is it more likely that OSU beats Texas or that Oregon beat USC?
What do you guys think?

i would say OSU has a slight advantage of getting the upset. Everyone is talking about Oregon pulling it off, think that will provide USC with the extra motivation to make a statement.
but...what the hell do i know. it's college football...any given saturday.

Georgia is worse than I thought.
Yea that was absolutely pathetic.
It seems every unit of that team (pass defense, special teams, o-line, d-line, etc) is crap... They have good kickers, AJ Green and Rennie Curran. I suspect Rennie will leave after this year, I wouldn't blame him. You got to get an inside look at the 2010 Dawgs in those last 5 minutes or so.
I hear cheering... something must have gone right for OU
The black helmet trick didn't work. The last time they tried something like that (black jerseys last year) they also got the shit kicked out of 'em.
Joe Cox needs to just sit on the bench for the rest of the year. He is terrible. May as well play one of the younger guys and invest in the future.

Yep. 2009 is over, might as well see what they've got for next year. BTW, Willie Martinez is a goddamn horrible DC, they'll never win with him around. Cox obviously can't handle the pressure, any time he stepped in for Stafford he did very well. To his credit, the fact that he is pressured 99% of the time doesn't help.
Yeah.....GO GATORS
LET'S GO K-STATE!!!!!
USC is getting run the fuck over.
