Nope it's Nextel/Sprint. This has happened before to me and others but it is rare. If I hadn't found the copy on the webmail server I would have felt funny calling the sales rep to ask him about it.
Dang technology. Why can't folks use smoke signals anymore? Worked fine all those years.

My head is going to fucking explode with this computer.
Cool. Thanks I will try that.
I would consider myself "knowledgeable" with computers, but dave... the things u talk about are like "really? u can look into things like that? i wouldve just reinstalled"
I'm more interested in seeing what the hell is causing this, for some perverse reason.

In soviet russia, reason perverts you.

connect to gmail through an external program and see if that works?
forward it to another address that may handle attachments differently?

haha, let me rephrase
"What technical attribute is stopping you from right clicking on the picture and clicking Save Image As"
Does it give you an error? Is that option greyed out?

b stabby, try changing to html mode & then do save-as
If that still doesn't work, right-click and "view source"
you should be able to pull the image link out of the source.

so COFEE, that super secret investigative computer forensics software made by microsoft has made it to the torrent trackers.
hmmmm i seem to be having a problem with my wireless network. this could become problematic....it's being really laggy, like 10k ping on WoW laggy.
k, i think I fixed it...my wi-fi adapter's 802.11n 2.4 (and 5.2) channel width's were both set to 20Mhz only...I flipped those to auto and it seems to have fixed the problem, for the time being.

The leak section of the wiki is funny.
I wouldn't mind seeing cofee in person.

Actually it looks like it is just a bunch of open source security tools bundled with a slick user interface.
Actually, from the screenshots people have posted, it's not even that slick looking.
where are these screens?

The consensus has been from everyone on a particular website that wont be named (no, not the chan) is that the program is absolutely nothing spectacular. At this very moment a user is decompiling the program to tell us exactly how it works and if it's worth the hype the bloggosphere has made it out to be.

I've got bad pixels running across the bottom of my screen, a row a pixel or two tall. Was only one row, now there's two, the second one not too far from bottom one, both at about taskbar level. Monitor is 19" Hanns G
Cool story, bro!
I figured the "help" was assumed in the "computer help" thread.
Well, usually there's some sort of specific thing you need help with.
You have two lines of dead pixels.
Maybe it will get worse, maybe it'll hold steady.
The way to fix it is to replace the monitor,
unless you can find the same model with a dead power supply or something, for cheap,
and you're really handy with taking things apart.

I've neither of the latter. But it is like 8 months old with a newegg 1 year replacement plan.
I'd replace it then. Nothing else you can do.
If you've got a 1 year replacement plan go ahead and send it in- it specifically covers things like that. I think the tolerance is 8 dead pixels before you can send it in?
I thought it was 6, but whatever
i've seen where it's like 2 of one color 2 of another or 5 total
I've seen people with single dead pixels get stuff replaced,
it just depends who you talk to and how convincing/jerky you are.
Two entire rows of dead pixels would be insta-replace, though.

Finally found the problem with this computer
It seems to have been Automatic Updates itself which was fucking everything up.
I did a repair install, immediately ran an sfc check, then installed Windows Update Agent, installed IE8 with no updates, and THEN tried to run windows update from the website, it worked.
Only that combination worked. Any updates that installed via the default automatic updates seemed to sense the wrong windows version, and fucked up eevrything.

I want to turn off docking (ie when you drag a window to the right or left, it
docks to that side, or when you drag to the taskbar it maximizes).
Anyone know how?
