Helpdesk / Issue Tracking Software Suggestions?

My company is seeking a web-based software to a) manage customer service issues, b) track bug fixes, and c) project manage our code development. Whatever system we choose would have to be able to tie into our existing customer database, which is in SQL. Anyone wanna suggest a solution?

So I put in another gig of ram in my computer.

Bad part is, when I reconnected it all, my video card stopped working properly.

9 restarts in a row (thanks to blue screen) and I go into safe mode and just wipe out the driver software completely for the video card.

But now I'm stuck in 4bit mode, 640x480. I'm trying to reinstall directly from the website at the moment and we'll see if that fixes it.

If not (and I'm able to get back to this screen) what might you suggest? I also notice that the HP monitor display isn't functioning properly either (it has it's own software as well).

This is frustrating. Just when I think I get one thing right >.<

Adobe Question

I have a PDF that was created using Adobe Designer 7 and a PDF that was created by conversion from Microsoft Word. When I try to Insert one into the other I get a "You cannot insert pages from an Adobe XML form into another PDF file. To include Adobe XML forms with other PDF files, please use the following menu option: Document > Attach a File.".

I've looked in the options, tried saving it as Static, Dynamic and Adobe 6, tried to open up and resave with Acrobat and even tried downloading and Acrobat Reader and doing a Save a Copy but I can't seem to get it to make a version that will allow me to merge it with another PDF file.

Google did me no good and neither did a search of Adobe's KB. Is there any way I can get this done?

Laptop hunting

Of course this is subjective, but what do you think of this laptop (and the price):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834114535

Quick specs:
TOSHIBA Satellite L305-S5908 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo T5800(2.00GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 4GB Memory DDR2 800 320GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi Intel GMA 4500MHD
$750

I'll be using it for everything, school and leisure. At school I run programs like Matlab and Mathematica that can be a little heavy on some systems. Otherwise I'll be using it for email, web browsing, word processing, as a frisbee, video, music, etc.

I have a Dell and it basically fell apart so I wanted a more reliable name. Should a Toshiba be better quality?

Thanks for the help.

Nope, that's the thing. It doesn't need to be at all, it's something that's meant to be printed out and written on.

Graphics
GPU/VPU Intel GMA 4500MHD
Video Memory 128MB-1759MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory
Graphic Type Integrated Card

pfffft...how about this one

Graphics
GPU/VPU NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS
Video Memory 1GB DDR3
Graphic Type Dedicated Card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220469

just playin' brah...that laptop should be good for what you are wanting to do with it. Don't know much about those math programs, but youll have enough RAM and processor to handle it, that vid card does worry me a little bit "dynamically allocated shared graphics memory" means that it will use system memory for graphics memory...meaning it will handle WoW just fine but don't expect to crank Crysis out anytime soon. You really might want to try and find one with a mobile dedicated GPU (that way the shelf-life will be extended a bit) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834147791 there's one for $949 or $899 after mail-in-rebate, just a little bit more than what you were paying for the one with shared memory, all the other specs are practically the same...it's all a matter of personal choice though.

Yeah, basically if you don't play up-to-the-minute games or render graphics your laptop will be fine, otherwise consider a dedicated video chip.
